Section 51 The Army Act, 1950  :Escape from custody. Any person subject to this Act who, being in lawful custody, escapes or

attempts to escape, shall, on conviction by court- martial, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term

which may extend to five years or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned.

सेना अधिनियम, 1950 की धारा 51 का विवरण :  - अभिरक्षा से निकल भागना - इस अधिनियम के अध्यधीन का कोई व्यक्ति, जो विधिपूर्ण अभिरक्षा में होते हुए निकल भागेगा या निकल भागने का प्रत्यन करेगा, सेना-न्यायालय द्वारा दोषसिद्धि पर कारावास, जिसकी अवधि पांच वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी या, ऐसा लघुतर दंड, जो इस अधिनियम में वर्णित है, भोगने के दायित्व के अधीन होगा।
