Section 125 Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 in Hindi and English 



Section 125 Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 :Where a cheque is uncrossed, the holder may cross it generally or specially -

Where a cheque is crossed generally, the holder may cross it specially,

Where a cheque is crossed generally or specially, the holder may add the words "not negotiable".

Where a cheque is crossed specially, the banker to whom it is crossed may again cross it specially to another banker, his agent, for collection.

परक्राम्य लिखत अधिनियम, 1881 की धारा 125 का विवरण :  - जहाँ कि चैक क्रॉस किया हुआ नहीं है वहाँ धारक उसे साधारणतः या विशेषतः क्रॉस कर सकेगा ।

जहाँ कि चैक साधारणतः क्रॉस किया हुआ है वहाँ धारक उसे विशेषतः क्रॉस कर सकेगा ।

जहाँ कि चैक साधारणत: या विशेषतः क्रॉस किया हुआ है वहाँ धारक उसमें ‘‘परक्राम्य नहीं है'' शब्द बढ़ा सकेगा ।

जहाँ कि चैक विशेषतः क्रॉस किया हुआ है वहाँ वह बैंकार जिसके पक्ष में वह क्रॉस किया हुआ है, उसे संग्रह करने के लिए अपने अभिकर्ता के रूप में दूसरे बैंकार के पक्ष में पुनः विशेषतः क्रॉस कर सकेगा।
