परक्राम्य लिखत अधिनियम, 1881 की धारा 124 का विवरण :  - जहाँ कि चैक पर उसके मुख भाग को काटते हुए बैंकार का नाम “परक्राम्य नहीं है' शब्दों के सहित या बिना बढ़ा दिया गया है वहाँ ऐसा बढ़ाना क्रॉस करना समझा जाएगा और यह समझा जाएगा कि वह चैक विशेषतः क्रॉस किया गया है और उस बैंकार के पक्ष में क्रॉस किया गया है ।
