  Section 1 The Army Act, 1950 in Hindi and English 

Section 1 The Army Act, 1950  :(1) This Act may be called the Army Act, 1950 .

(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official

Gazette, appoint in this behalf.

(2) यह उस तारीख को प्रवृत्त होगा जिसे केन्द्रीय सरकार, शासकीय राजपत्र में अधिसूचना द्वारा, इस निमित्त नियत करे।
