Section 325 of IPC 1860:-Punishment for voluntarily causing grievous hurt -

Whoever, except in the case provided for by section 335, voluntarily causes grievous hurt, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 325 का विवरण -स्वेच्छया घोर उपहति कारित करने के लिए दण्ड -

उस दशा के सिवाय, जिसके लिए धारा 335 में उपबन्ध है, जो कोई स्वेच्छया घोर उपहति कारित करेगा , वह दोनों में से किसी भाँति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि सात वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, दण्डित किया जाएगा, और जुर्माने से भी दण्डनीय होगा।
