Section 281 of IPC 1860:- Exhibition of false light, mark or buoy –

Whoever exhibits any false light, mark or buoy, intending or knowing it to be likely that such exhibition will mislead any navigator, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, or with fine, or with both.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 281 का विवरण -  भ्रामक,प्रकाश चिन्ह या बोये का प्रदर्शन -

जो कोई किसी भ्रामक प्रकाश चिन्ह या बोये का प्रदर्शन इस आशय से, या यह संभाव्य जानते हुए करेगा, कि ऐसा प्रदर्शन किसी नौपरिवाहक को मार्ग भ्रष्ट कर देगा, वह दोनों में से किसी भाँति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि सात वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, या जुर्माने से, या दोनों से दण्डित किया जा सकेगा।
