Section 80 of IPC 1860:-Act causing slight harm –
Nothing is an offence by reason that it causes, or that it is intended to cause, or that it is known to be likely to cause, any harm, if that harm is so slight that no person of ordinary sense and temper would complain of such harm.

कोई बात इस कारण से अपराध नहीं है कि उससे कोई अपहानि कारित होती है या कारित की जानी आशयित है या कारित होने की संभाव्यता ज्ञात है, यदि वह इतनी तुच्छ है कि मामूली समझ और स्वभाव वाला कोई व्यक्ति उसकी शिकायत न करेगा।
