धारा 9 का विवरण - वचन

भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 9 के अनुसार, जब तक कि संदर्भ से तत्प्रतिकूल प्रतीत न हो, एकवचन द्योतक शब्दों के अन्तर्गत बहुवचन आता है, और बहुवचन द्योतक शब्दों के अन्तर्गत एकवचन आता है ।


Section 9 of IPC 1860:-  Number

Unless the contrary appears from the context, words importing the singular number include the plural number, and words importing the plural number include the singular number.
